Having a clean atmosphere and clean surroundings let me think better. Like right now I want to post something meaningful or post a guide of keeping your things organized, but like I said, I need clean surroundings. Currently it is a mess in here. Not only in my room but currently in my mind.
So, I will just end this post by telling everyone to make sure that if you need to work on something and FOCUS on that one thing, then I suggest that you have a clean place to be in or a clear mind.

Traits of a Traitor
Isn't it just absolutely lovely to have someone befriend you just to use you for something that you have that they need?
This, folks, is what is called a not-so-loyal-person. The sad part is that sometimes, people don't see that they were just being used and so they make the same mistakes over and over again.
How does it feel to fall in love with someone you thought was in love with you, only to find out that they just wanted to get into your pants?
This world has many flaws. One of them is the people who just use others for their own advantages. It's a dangerous game played by a sneaky fox. All we need to do is to know how to play along and win it, or how to avoid these types of people for the sake of your safety and happiness.

- Keep your lips sealed tight after just meeting someone you don't know very well yet. Many people tend to spill out their whole life story to an acquaintance that they're sitting next to on a bus, just to "make conversation". In other words, choose what you say and preserve yourself at a first meeting with someone.
- Don't fall for everything so easily. Know when someone is actually telling the truth or not. Now this can get pretty hard, there are many deceivers in this world who say they are someone they're not. The best thing to do, in my opinion of course, is to learn from sources. Are they a mutual friend? Ask others about your new "friend" and see what he's like when he's not around you. If not a mutual friend, then learn and slowly find out yourself what he's really like. During the process of the friendship you're forming, find out his strengths or weaknesses. His favorite food, movie, music and etc. This way, you really grow to trust them and know who you're dealing with.
- Show them who you are. There could be people who try to make you fall in love with them just so they could be the first one to get to your pants. But like in many movies and books, the guy somehow starts to unintentionally fall for the girl just by actually getting to know her true self. So, be comfortably you!
- It's their loss, not yours. In the end, if they somehow still get what they want from you without actually caring about you, just remember that small mistakes like these can make you even stronger. In the future, they'll see you grow and be even better than before. Make them feel bad that they only used you.

The Heart Wants What it Wants
Selena Gomez's song makes me feel so...so greedy, you know? She is saying(or at least I think she is saying) that even though some things should be left untouched, when your heart wants it, it wants it and it will get it.
However, we need to know how to control our desires and wants. If what we want is not a necessity in life, then it's something you don't need to get. Do you want a boyfriend? Are you needing one so badly that you would die?
There are some movies where I watched a girl murder someone just to be with the man she wants. And that man did not want her. There are even people like that in the real world, I mean have you seen the news?
Saying you want something without considering about the other person/people is just plain greedy. Greedy is just a nicer word for selfish, and being selfish is not something you would want to be.
Let's take our "wants" to a level where we don't cause harm to other people. Learn how to suffer a bit. It's way better than being used to getting whatever you want and growing up to be a spoiled brat. Here's a list of some helpful ideas:
- Take your mind off of the desired object (or person)-Do other things like watching some telenovelas, cooking, going outside or other hobbies you love doing
- Stick to the "want" and "need" saying- We always hear everyone around us saying that if you don't need it, then don't get it. Sometimes it gets repeated way too much for our liking, but it's true and it works.
- Tell yourself you'll get it some other time- No need to get bummed out, Selena! You can get whoever it is that you want some other time. Sometimes, when you wait too long for what you want, then it just sort of fades away and you forget that you ever wanted it. For example, last year I asked my mom if I could get a long-board. She said I could get one if I was honor roll for two quarters (That unfortunately didn't happen). As time went on, I waited and waited for the long-board, only to find new interests and losing the desire to get a long-board. (Another belief I have is that the feeling of wanting is just a temporary feeling. When you do get it, you would lose interest in it in the future. It's only exciting in the beginning. This is the case for new phones, laptops and etc.)
- Think about who or what it will affect- Will it hurt your parents' wallet? Will it distract you from studying for school? Again, don't be so selfish and think about the negative side for your desire.
Learning how to stop your desires will make you live as a better person. This is an opinion that I think everyone would agree on.

Welcome to Desecration Smile
Hello, welcome to this new blog,Desecration Smile. :)
If you're a fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers then you probably know that this title is based off of one of their songs. It is a beautiful song with Anthony Keidis's deep lyrics and combination of the band's instruments.
The song itself is about the lead singer Anthony's girlfriend and how happy he is with her (or in today's case, was). However, it is that actual title, those actual words that I personally love.
Desecrating alone means to treat something disrespectfully or outrageously (merriam-webster.com). Desecration Smile, as I've searched, is a smile with a hint of sadness in it. No, it's not a "fake" smile where you smile to hide your actual feelings. It's a real, happy smile that you actually mean. Just a smile with genuine happiness and at the same time, sadness.
I feel like everyone unknowingly makes a desecration smile at one point in their lives (maybe even more). When you get into a job that your best friend didn't get into. When you remember and reminisce the good old days. When you witness someone in their best days while you're having a bad hair day.
All those are examples of desecration smiles. Maybe this is inaccurate, but I like to think and believe that it is correct. I like to call those smiles, the happiness combined into sadness, desecration smiles.
